Did you know that last year Local Space staff donned their bicycle helmets and rode their bikes 16 miles from the office in Stratford all the way to Embankment.
Each year Local Space staff vote to sponsor a local charity for the year. They then run a number of small charity events and sponsorships for that particular charity.
Over the past year, there have been several raffles and bids and ‘bring and share’ lunches.
The bike ride helped to raise money for east London charity Richard House Children’s Hospice, which delivers clinical care, short breaks and other residential services to children and young adults and provides support to their families.
With additional help from partnering contractors, the bike ride enabled Local Space not only to beat the target donation but triple it!
